Community Guidelines
Trade kindly and fairly
Always ask before touching someone's pins, lanyard, or trading book.
"No thanks" is a complete answer. Never pressure, guilt, or badger anyone into a trade.
Agree on every trade out loud before any pins change hands, and don't try to undo a finished trade later.
Be extra patient and generous with kids and first-time traders.
Inside theme parks and stores, follow that location's own trading rules and cast member guidance.
Authentic pins only
Never knowingly trade, post, or submit counterfeit, "scrapper," or unauthorized copies as authentic.
If you're not sure whether a pin is authentic, say so before trading.
Point out any damage, missing backs, or defects before a trade.
Respect everyone
No harassment, bullying, threats, hate speech, or discrimination of any kind.
Keep usernames, photos, and messages family friendly. Many collectors are kids and families.
Disagree politely. Personal attacks are never okay.
Keep kids safe
Members under 18 should trade and attend meetups with a parent or guardian.
Adults should never ask minors to meet privately, move to private messaging, or share personal information.
Report anything that makes a young collector feel unsafe right away.
No selling or pricing in the app
Magical PinPanion is for collecting and trading. Don't post prices, sell pins, or advertise shops or listings in lists, events, or messages.
Keep resale and value talk off the app so trades stay friendly and fair.
Hosting a meetup
Events must be open to the pin community and held in a public place.
Give accurate details: the date, time, location, and whether admission costs anything.
Hosts are responsible for their event. Update or cancel it in the app if plans change.
Every event is reviewed before it's posted. We may decline events that don't follow these guidelines.
Trade requests (18+)
Trade requests are for collectors 18 and older. You can ask another collector for one pin on their Traders list; if they accept, you'll both see where to reach each other on social media and arrange the trade there. There is no chat in the app.
Ask politely, and take no for an answer. Don't send the same collector repeated requests.
Never ask for or send money in advance, and don't share your address or other personal information. Trade in public places.
Use Report or Block on any request that makes you uncomfortable. We may turn off trade requests for anyone who breaks these guidelines.
Staying safe at meetups
Meet in public, well-lit places, and bring a friend if you like.
Keep your valuables and trading books with you.
Trust your instincts. If something feels off, leave and let us know.
Share accurate information
When you submit a pin, share what you actually know. Leave a field blank rather than guess.
Only upload photos you took or have permission to use.
Protect privacy
Don't share anyone's personal information, like addresses, phone numbers, or photos of them, without permission.
Don't take or post photos of other people at meetups without asking first.
Reporting and enforcement
If you see something that breaks these guidelines, use Report a problem or Chat with support in Help and feedback.
Depending on what happened, we may remove content, decline submissions, issue a warning, or suspend or remove an account.
Serious safety concerns may be shared with the appropriate authorities.
